Update: Longines Global Champions Tour of Miami Beach now 14 - 16 April

After overnight changes to the weather forecast the Longines Global Champions Tour of Miami Beach will now run from Friday 14 April - Sunday 16 April. The ground expert has confirmed and is confident that by the weekend the footing will be good again.

The safety and well-being of our riders, their horses, and our guests remain our top priority. As such, we have made some necessary adjustments to the competition timetable to account for the heavy rainfall.

The CSI5* timetable has been revised to take place on Friday and Saturday and the CSI2* competitions will run over all three days. The GCL team competition will now only be one round on Friday at 16.30 and the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Miami Beach has been moved to 14.45 on Saturday.

Despite some weather setbacks, the Longines Global Champions Tour of Miami Beach will still be taking place, with the GCL team competition now condensed into one exhilarating round. While we may have missed out on a second round, this change will only add to the excitement and intensity of the competition, as riders and their horses will be giving it their all in one go.

This means that spectators will get to witness all the high-stakes action and world-class horsemanship in a streamlined, action-packed one round. With top riders and horses from around the globe vying for victory, this promises to be a show not to be missed. Let's saddle up and get ready for an unforgettable ride! So get ready to cheer on your favorite teams as they compete in this thrilling event!

Longines Global Champions Tour of Miami Beach 2023: Change of Schedule

Due to extreme weather conditions the schedule for the Longines Global Champions Tour of Miami Beach 2023 has been revised to now take place from 13 - 16 April. We understand the anticipation and excitement that comes with the event and would like to assure you that our team is working tirelessly with local experts to ensure that everything runs smoothly and is still an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.The safety and well-being of our riders, their horses, and our guests are our top priority. As such, we have made some necessary adjustments to the competition schedule to account for the weather conditions. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in this matter.With the weather forecast due to be better later in the week, the CSI2* classes have been postponed to start on Thursday 13 April continuing through to Sunday 16 April. There is only one minor change to the CSI5* classes with just a single class on Thursday and more money being put into the €326,200 Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Miami Beach which will stay at it’s original time on Saturday 15 April.We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our sponsors, participants, and guests for their continued support and understanding.
